In a world full of stories, some mundane, others exciting, every story is worth telling even once. You should write your own story as well as shout it over the mountain tops.

𝐀 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧?

Anne Frank did not write her life to tell it to the world, but nevertheless, it did and it changed the narrative. Our ancestors told tales that survived eons that showed how magnificent life can be. I write my journal to remember my day, or you post on your social media to share your life. Perhaps one day they might as well become the scrolls to study life many centuries ago. 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧.

Although becoming a storyteller is not a forlorn task, many overlook it, thinking the artistic aspect it takes to become one is rather nebulous. That is where you are mistaken. Cavemen copied their hands into the cave walls because they saw the shadows dancing through the fires and thought it was beautiful. Lovers wrote letter after letter because they couldn’t bear to be away from home. So many shots of beautifully coloured skies in your gallery because you love them. All these individual beings collectively translated the beauty of being alive into stories that are echoed for centuries. Being alive and breathing this life is art enough to fill pages. There is no difference between the human and the artist. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐭.

𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞. The best example is how most science fiction stories are becoming alive right in front of our eyes. There are so many technologies that came to life just because someone dared enough to dream and had the guts to tell the world of their dream. One example is Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870), which greatly influenced the design of early submarines as well as the concept of underwater travel. History is a huge proof of this. 

Another intriguing point, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞. Whether it is going to be a rom-com, a coming-of-age, an action, or a thriller is totally up to you. What do you know, you can switch it up anytime you wish and mix it however you like. Be the director of your life. Make even the most abysmal aspect a plot point and have an insane plot armor to face the challenges the world throws at you.

I have always wondered how exactly my life would look through a writer’s pages or a painter’s canvas or a poet’s verse or a photographer’s lens. To make even the most dull moment of my life into a story, I always try to share it with the ones closest to my heart and eventually the world. Think of your life as a living and breathing testimony to the art. A waltz of your own danced on the huge stage that we call life, and see how many will fall in love with you. Make the curtain rise and utter your monologue, even if the only syllable out of your mouth is “𝐈”, even if it takes a while to gather the courage. 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐱𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲.
