Dazzling shades
Of clouds
From sunrise to sunset
Hassling trades
For sprouts
From breakfast to dinner
How many of them
Might I have missed
If you weren’t my home
To witness at…
Oceans and mountains
Breathtaking
Devotions and encounters
Worth chasing
How many of them
Might I have missed
If you never gave me life
To be sentient and thrive…
A ‘complete woman’ you were called
After having a child
But a complete woman you were
Even before having a child
Thousands of frustrations
that were fearlessly undergone
Rollercoasters of emotions
that were flowed till I born
‘twas nothing but a choice
And only a choice
You made over your comfort
An eternal symbol of selfless love
You unfolded to the world
Mother, you held me safe inside
Mother, you flew high seeing me safe outside
Mother, you made me whole;
I shine
Mother, you portrayed my soul;
I feel divine
Now that I continue my flight
You affectionately did guide
Mother, may I fall into your arms and hide
for one last time
Before these eyes
Open wide and confide
Seeing you beside me
Walking in heaven so nice
Isn’t real at all
just a dream of mine…
