Strengthening Bonds and Building Bridges: Twin Club Agreement with Rotaract Club of Indore City Young Leaders

On September 28th, via Google Meet, we embarked on a transformative journey by formalizing a Twin Club Agreement with the Rotaract Club of Indore City Young Leaders in Rotaract International District 3040. This meeting signifies the continuation of our shared dedication to creating a positive influence within our communities. Members of both clubs came together with a shared mission to foster collaboration that enhances our ability to serve society.
We started the meeting with introductions of participants and a glimpse into our respective clubs. Afterwards, Rtr. Dewang Baid provided a brief overview of their club’s projects and initiatives while Rtr. Sithmi Nimasha introduced projects carried out under the international service avenue of our club. Rotaract Club of Indore City Young Leaders requested us to collaborate on the project “Bezubaan”, while we also suggested the idea of a joint donation food drive as a part of our initiative “Food Fusion” emphasizing our shared commitment to service.
Beyond project discussions, the meeting delved into the diverse cultures and experiences of our clubs. This exchange shared insights into our Rotaract district and a deeper understanding of Rotaract in India and the rich tapestry of their culture. And also, showcased a video presentation that highlight the rich cultural heritage of Rotaract International District 3040. Rtr. Yezeed Yehiya, President of the Rotaract Club of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, shared a glimpse of our club’s activities through a small video. This visual showcase captured the essence of our projects and the dedication of our members.
The meeting was not just about plans: it was also an opportunity to celebrate our past achievements, enduring friendships, and the impact we’ve made. Rtr. Sathmi Dinanja, the editor of our club, highlighted that achieving future goals and doing impactful projects that we planned to undertake while emphasizing the long-lasting friendships that will continue to happen along our journey.
As the meeting concluded, the Twin Club Agreement between the Rotaract Club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura and the Rotaract Club of Indore City Young Leaders is more than an agreement; it is a commitment to creating positive change and fostering lasting friendships. Together, we embark on a journey that promises to address pressing issues and make our communities better places while fostering cultural understanding and building lasting friendships.
This agreement reflects that spirit and our collective dedication to improving the world around us.
