200+ members The First monthly gathering for the Month of July, of the Rotaract Club of University of Sri Jayawardenapura for the Rotaract year 2017-18 was held on 20th of July 2017. The proceedings were commenced with its new committee for the rotaract year under the leadership of Rtr. President Samudya Amarasinghe.

 The participation of the members were highlighted during the meeting and recorded the highest participation in the club history for a monthly gathering with more than 200 members. The main purpose of the meeting was to backtrack the projects that were done for the month of July which were Shilpa and The Butterfly Effect and to discuss the upcoming projects of the club.

The Best avenue was recognized as the Finance committee and the best Rotaractors for the month was awarded to Rtr. Oshani Singapuliarachchi and Rtr. Damithri Wanniarachchi during the meeting with the presence of the Club/Board Advisor Rtr. Visitha Amaratunga and Rtr. IPP Osanda Wijesundara.

This gathering was enriched by fun games where all the Rotaractors enjoyed and participated, giving an opportunity to Engage in Rotaract and Redefine Friendship getting to know Rotaractors from all Faculties and committee in one place. This was  the best monthly gathering so far recognized, due to the active participation of the members  and outcome of a variety of projects we’ve had within the span of one Month.
