Or to let it hold your hand
Stay as far away as possible
Like you’re afraid to get caught
What harm can an enchanting magic do?
What hurt can a gentle breeze bring?
Why can’t you look deep into those eyes?
Why won’t you embrace that warmth
any tighter?
The days will be brighter
Sorrows will be slighter
Your heart’s gonna beat smoother
Soul’s gonna rest cooler
If you just let that sweet LOVE in…
You keep concealing all your feelings,
confined in your own heart
until you finally heal enough to open up…
Perhaps you will find yourself
somewhere in the middle of
every poem she writes…
