“Literato: Chapter 6”, the signature initiative project by the International Service avenue of the Rotaract Club of the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, commenced during December, 2023.

This project was conducted in three main phases; namely 

• Phase 1: Literary Voyage

A series of global outreach and cultural exchange posts, emphasising the cultural richness and literary contributions of different countries. 

• Phase 2: Literary Legacies 

An online workshop session focused on strengthening networks and cultural appreciation, in collaboration with representatives from esteemed Rotaract Clubs of LAU Byblos, Salem Gems, Chennai, and Suma Paz. 

Additionally, this session featured a thought-provoking Zoom discussion on the Sri Lankan cinema industry and cinematic history, conducted by  Mr. Hasantha Dissanayake, a pioneer in the cinema world. 

• Phase 3: Digital Narratives

The concluding phase of “Literato Chapter 6” was carried out through a interactive webinar focused on Cybersecurity, conducted by Mr. Kalpa Kalahara, a distinguished expert in the field.

 Overall, looking back on the project progression and end results, it can be concluded that “Literato: Chapter 6”, was a tremendous success in creating a global community of literature lovers in order to develop international relations at an academic level. Moreover, this multifaceted project, has successfully navigated the realms of international literary exchange, local cultural exploration, and essential digital awareness, by embracing international collaboration, online webinars, and focused sessions, and was successfully concluded by the first week of January, 2024.
