“Rollin’ Action” was a tremendously fun project organized by the Club Service Avenue of the Rotaract Club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura. This was a three-phased project, opened to anyone from the age of 18 to 30 without any restrictions and the sole purpose of the project was to showcase the artistic, dubbing talents and creativity of the youth nowadays and also to enhance the bond between the club members and to have fun and share the joy and happiness with each other, despite the critical situation of the country

The first phase of Rollin’ Action was “Artistic Reel”, an Art competition pertaining to two categories as drawings and graphic illustrations based on movies, which summoned the skilled youth to showcase their amazing talents. Numerous breathtaking and eye-catching drawings were received which absolutely depicted their incredible talents of them. Yasitha Samarathunga was announced as the winner of the category Most Popular Drawing for his remarkable drawing of Jack Sparrow while Akesh Malshan was announced as the winner of the category Most Popular Graphic Illustration for his image with striking beauty which utterly portrayed their artistic skills and creativity.

The second phase of the project was a PR campaign and it was about none other than the fun facts of highly famous and well-loved movies all time by the movie fans all around the world, such as Tangled, Kingsman etc.

The third phase was undoubtedly the most fun and interesting phase of this project, which was named “Movie Mystery”. Movie Mystery was a movie competition for all the young movie enthusiasts. This received many good feedback as a fun filled, exciting and a thrilling movie challenge! Based on three movie rounds as Quizzard, Voice-it, and What If. Quizzard was a quiz related to movies, which evoked marvelous and exciting memories of movies. Voice-it was a dubbing challenge and What If was about explaining the rest of the story depending on the given context. This interesting phase received many magnificent videos with vast creativity for Voice-it and What If, which were really fun deriving with astounding ideas which truly outlined the amazing talents, capabilities and innovations of the youth.

Around thirty teams participated in this phase and Team Anabelle won first place of the Movie Mystery for their massive creativity while Teams The Inglorious Mustards and Samurais were announced as the first and second runners up respectively, for their awesome talents and abilities.
