Not every story needs pages to be powerful. This little letter written by one of our past presidents, who served as the President for the RI year 2021-22, is filled with laughter, courage, and the kind of wisdom you only find when looking back!

Hey, you! The one who swore you’d just mind your own business,

And yet, here you are — in Rotaract, stepping into roles you never imagined, finding laughter, confidence, and people who will leave their mark on you. Life will lift you up, shake you a little, and shape you in ways you can’t yet see. 

Some days will feel heavier than others, but they’ll teach you how to stand tall without losing your softness. You’ll discover strength in places you didn’t expect and learn that even the hard moments have something to give. 

So don’t be afraid to say yes. To projects, to friendships, to the moments that stretch you.  Years from now, you’ll look back and realize these were some of the best times — the ones that made you braver, kinder, and stronger than you knew you could be.
