“True fellowship is built through shared moments and lasting connections.”

Project Uni Three 3.0 was a dynamic and highly anticipated fellowship initiative that brought together the Rotaract Clubs of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, University of Peradeniya, and University of Ruhuna. Rooted in the core values of unity, friendship, and collaboration, the project unfolded in three vibrant phases, each hosted by one of the participating universities. With every phase, the bond between the clubs grew stronger, leaving behind unforgettable memories and lasting friendships.

Phase One – University of Sri Jayewardenepura

The first phase was proudly hosted by the Rotaract Club of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The day began with a warm welcome for the visiting members from the University of Ruhuna and the University of Peradeniya. During the introductory session, both the visitors and the organizing committee had the opportunity to introduce themselves, setting a friendly and welcoming tone for the day.

An inspiring welcome speech by the host club president, Rtr. Nethmi Bandara, highlighted the importance of collaboration and the true spirit of Rotaract. To encourage interaction, participants were divided into mixed groups representing all three universities. A series of fun-filled games and activities followed. To add a special touch to the visit, a zip-and-paint session with music was organized, allowing everyone to paint a pot and select the best design. A simple headphone game was also conducted, promoting teamwork and friendship.

After a delicious lunch, the energy remained high with a karaoke session where everyone had the opportunity to sing and perform in front of the group. The day concluded with heartfelt feedback from the visiting Rotaractors, who praised the hospitality and the meaningful connections that were formed. It was a perfect start to the Uni Three journey.

Phase Two – University of Ruhuna

The second phase of Uni Three 3.0 took the fellowship experience south to the picturesque University of Ruhuna. Continuing the momentum from the first phase, this event focused on rekindling the friendships and connections built in Jayewardenepura.

The organizing team first shared a wonderful video showcasing the history of their university. A group photo then captured the joy and unity of the moment, followed by a series of fun-filled games. To further encourage interaction, participants were once again divided into mixed groups representing all three universities. The activities brought out both the competitive and collaborative spirit of the participants.

After the games, everyone enjoyed a delightful lunch before wrapping up another successful day of fellowship. Though the visit was brief, the impact it created was lasting.

Phase Three – University of Peradeniya

The final and most vibrant phase of Uni Three 3.0 was hosted at the stunning University of Peradeniya. On May 16th, 2026, Rotaractors from the three universities reunited once again, radiating enthusiasm and unity.

The day kicked off with a warm welcome and an engaging campus tour led by the students of Peradeniya. The visitors were treated to scenic views, historic landmarks, and a deeper understanding of the cultural essence of the university. Following the tour, the day continued with entertaining games that brought laughter and friendly competition, all accompanied by a hearty lunch.

This final gathering was a true celebration of fellowship. The Rotaract spirit was alive and vibrant, and the camaraderie shared throughout the day left everyone feeling more connected than ever.

Throughout its three vibrant phases, Uni Three 3.0 also contributed meaningfully to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By fostering cross-campus collaboration and promoting cultural understanding, the project aligned with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. The emphasis on inclusive participation and mutual respect also reflected the spirit of SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. Moreover, the initiative encouraged youth engagement, leadership, and capacity-building, resonating strongly with SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.

Through fellowship and shared experiences, Uni Three 3.0 not only built friendships but also helped pave the way for a more united and sustainable future.

As we reflect on this incredible journey, we are reminded that through shared experiences and collective joy, unity is not just a goal, it is a reality we can create together. Here’s to continued fellowship, future collaborations, and the legacy of Uni Three!
